AASHTO #3, 3″ Crushed Stone
Utilitarian stone, used primarily in drainage areas or for structural base material. 3 to 4 inch size.
Antique White 3/8″ crushed stone
Crushed white stone, used for decoration, driveways and paths. Compacts well if less than 2″ thick. This is not a dyed or bleached stone and will never lose its color. 3/8″ aggregates are also known as 1B. NOW IN STOCK!
Antique White 3/4″ crushed stone
NOW IN STOCK! White with flecks of tan and grey. Decorative stone that gives you the feel of being at the beach. Usually used in decorative places as it has a high silica content which makes it less durable under loads and susceptible to crushing.
Concrete Sand
Course sand used for mixing concrete and under pavers in walkways, patios and driveways. Light grey color.
Delaware River Gravel, 3/8″
Light Grey, Tan & off white river gravel. Often called pea gravel or pea stone, this rounded small gravel is a favorite for fire pits and walkways in natural settings. Easy to shovel, beautiful to look at, this is the most affordable decorative stone. Chairs will easily settle in making your fire pit time more enjoyable. Cheers!
Delaware River Gravel, 3/4″
Light Grey, Tan & off white river gravel. Affordable decorative stone. Does not compact well due to round nature of stone.
Delaware 1″ to 3″ River Gravel
Decorative stone, compliments evergreens beautifully. Natural round shapes in tans, light grey and off white. Very little to no red in this gravel.
Driveway Stone, crushed 3/4″ 2B OR AASHTO 57
This is the stone most people use for a driveway when color may not be the most important thing. Our driveway mix color stone is predominantly grey with touches of red and tan. If you want lots of color, tri-axle loads of multi-color are available. This photo is slightly wet to give you the idea of the variation from dry to wet.
Golden 2″ to 4″ River Gravel
Off white light yellow or golden in color. Primarily a decorative stone. Must be placed 3 to 4″ thick due to size of rock. Brightens up darker areas due to quartz in stone. Frequently called Goose Egg stone in Pennsylvania. Special order, non-stock item.
Golden 3/4″ Course River Gravel
Off white light yellow or golden in color. Primarily a decorative stone. Brightens up darker areas due to quartz in stone.
Golden 3/8″ River Gravel
Tan and off white natural round stone. Small stone size gives a very smooth look from a distance. Bulk (special order) or bagged.
Grey 3/4″ crushed stone or 2B
Beautiful blue stone for driveway or decorative purposes. 3/4″ aggregates are also known as 2B or AASHTO 57.
Grey 3/8″ Crushed Stone or 1B
Beautiful blue crushed stone. Used commonly in walkways. Will compact nicely if not too deep. 3/8″ aggregates are also known as 1B.
Grit, Screenings or Manufactured Sand
This utilitarian crushed man-made sand is a favorite for installation of natural stone. Screenings look great between stone joints. Great for back fill of trenches or sink holes, it is an affordable utility sand.
Frequently used as paver sand, it is NOT the ICPI specified material for under pavers. Manufactured sands tend to compact and hold more water which can lead to bottom-end paver rot.
3/4″ Modified or Paver Base stone
This stone is not designed to be pretty. The beauty is in its function as a structural aggregate base material due to the large variety of particle sizes in the mixture. This is the best stone for filling potholes as it will not move easily. This material will give you the look of a gravel road. This is the aggregate used as a base under pavers or walls in hardscaping installations. Also known as 2RC or 2A.
Red Grit, Screenings or Manufactured Sand, Septic Sand
This utilitarian crushed man-made sand is a favorite for installation of natural stone. Screenings look great between stone joints. Approved for use as a washed septic sand, this is a good choice for under natural stone in landscaping areas.
Frequently used as paver sand, it is NOT the ICPI specified material for under pavers. Manufactured sands tend to compact and hold more water which can lead to bottom-end paver rot.
Red 3/8″ Stone or Red 1B
Crushed red stone, used for decoration, driveways and paths. Compacts well if less than 2″ thick. Not a dyed stone, will never lose its color. Our red stone comes from northern Pennsylvania and has a brighter color than the barn red stone in southern Pennsylvania.
Red 3/4″ Crushed Stone or Red 2B
Natural red crushed stone. Color is NOT dyed. Used for landscaping, driveways, paths. Common in the Pocono region. When first placed and dusty, this stone will appear lighter in color similar to this image. When rinsed by rain it will darken to look similar in color to the picture below.
Susquehannna 3/4″ River Gravel
Colors are similar to Pocono river gravel. Our most colorful blend. Brown/Grey/Tan mix
Susquehanna 1″ to 3″ River Gravel
Colors are similar to Pocono river gravel. Our most colorful blend. Brown/Grey/Tan mix of colors. The larger size ads texture to the landscape. Stunning in brighter full sun areas, perhaps too dark for shaded areas.
Sandstone Pebbles, 3/4″
This silica based stone is beautiful but not sturdy. It is great for decorative areas and can be used in light traffic areas but is probably not the best choice for your driveway. If you are looking for a stone with lots of color, look no further. This is a great stone to use in place of mulch or landscaping stone. Also used in concrete manufacturing in the winter due to heat released when being crushed.
Mason Sand
Light tan colored sand is hard to find in Pennsylvania. A very fine grade sand often used under pools and in sand boxes. This color of sand can be ordered in multiple grades for your project needs. High silica sand is very desirable in block manufacturing and is considered the best sand by manufacturers around the world.
