Driveway Stone, crushed 3/4″ 2B OR AASHTO 57
This is the stone most people use for a driveway when color may not be the most important thing. Our driveway mix color stone is predominantly grey with touches of red and tan. If you want lots of color, tri-axle loads of multi-color are available. This photo is slightly wet to give you the idea of the variation from dry to wet.
Golden 2″ to 4″ River Gravel
Off white light yellow or golden in color. Primarily a decorative stone. Must be placed 3 to 4″ thick due to size of rock. Brightens up darker areas due to quartz in stone.
Modified or Paver Base stone
This stone is not designed to be pretty. The beauty is in its function as a structural aggregate base material due to the large variety of particle sizes in the mixture. This is the best stone for filling potholes as it will not move easily. This material will give you the look of a gravel road. This is the aggregate used as a base under pavers or walls in hardscaping installations.
Red 3/4″ Crushed Stone or Red 2B
Natural red crushed stone. Color is NOT dyed. Used for landscaping, driveways, paths. Common in the Pocono region. When first placed and dusty, this stone will appear lighter in color similar to this image. When rinsed by rain it will darken to look similar in color to the picture below.
